SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Suratun Nafisah was born in Riau, Indonesia in August 1988. She completed her B.Sc in Physics from University of Riau (UNRI) in 2011 under supervision of Prof. Dr. Iwantono, M.Phil and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akrajas Ali Umar. The M.Sc in Microengineering and Nanoelectronics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was obtained in 2015 under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akrajas Ali Umar and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Muhamad Mat Salleh. In 2017, she enrolled the Ph.D program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) under supervision of Dr. Marlia Morsin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nafarizal Nayan, and Dr. Nur Anida Jumadi. During the master and Ph.D programs, she was a graduate research assistant with the Organic Printed Electronics Laboratory, Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN) and Sensor Devices Laboratory, Microelectronics & Nanotechnology – Shamsuddin Research Centre (MiNT-SRC), Respectively. She joined Sumatera Institute of Technology (ITERA) as a Lecturer in the Departement of Electrical Engineering in January 2021. Her research interest includes the synthesis of noble metals and metal oxide nanoparticles for application in electronic devices.
