Teknik elektro, ITERA, EL ITERA
Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) kembali menjadi tuan rumah bagi mahasiswa internasional. Kali ini, tujuh mahasiswa dari Fakultas Kejuruteraan Elektrik (FTKE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTeM), bergabung dalam program pertukaran mahasiswa di Program Studi Teknik Elektro ITERA pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2024/2025. Kedatangan mahasiswa UTeM ini merupakan angkatan kedua, menyusul kesuksesan program serupa pada tahun sebelumnya.
Pada Senin, 23 September 2024, telah dilaksanakan pertemuan perkenalan antara mahasiswa UTeM dengan dosen-dosen Teknik Elektro ITERA. Acara ini dihadiri oleh Ketua Program Studi Teknik Elektro, Bapak Gde KM Atmajaya, Sub-Koordinator Student Mobility UTeM-ITERA, Dr. Suratun Nafisah, S.Si., M.Sc., serta dosen-dosen lainnya seperti Efa Maydhona, S.T., M.T., Tria Kasnalestari, S.T., M.T., Dr. Duwi Hariyanto, S.T., M.T., dan Muchamad Eris Rizqul Ulum, S.T., M.T..
Tujuh mahasiswa UTeM yang mengikuti program exchange ini adalah Azlin Binti Adnan, Venosh A/L Baskaran, Arvin Kumar S/O Jayakumar, Yasmine Henry, Thina Kumaran A/L Lecthumanan, Surendran A/L Ramachandran, Claudia Adele Jaunarius.
Selama menjalani program exchange/mobility, mahasiswa UTeM akan mengikuti perkuliahan bersama mahasiswa ITERA. Mata kuliah yang diambil meliputi Manajemen Industri, Sistem Kontrol, Elektronika Lanjutan, Matematika Teknik 2, Sistem Energi, Energi Terbarukan dan Smart Grid, Laboratorium Rangkaian Listrik, Etika Profesi, dan Manajemen Operasi dan Teknopreneurship.
Kerjasama antara ITERA dan UTeM dalam program pertukaran mahasiswa ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar mahasiswa, memperluas jaringan internasional, serta meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di kedua institusi.
Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) is once again hosting international students. This time, seven students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FTKE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTeM), are joining the student exchange program at ITERA's Electrical Engineering Study Program in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The arrival of UTeM students marks the second batch, following the success of a similar program the previous year.
On Monday, September 23, 2024, an introductory meeting was held between the UTeM students and ITERA's Electrical Engineering lecturers. The event was attended by the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Mr. Gde KM Atmajaya, the Sub-Coordinator of the UTeM-ITERA Student Mobility, Dr. Suratun Nafisah, S.Si., M.Sc., as well as other lecturers such as Efa Maydhona, S.T., M.T., Tria Kasnalestari, S.T., M.T., Dr. Duwi Hariyanto, S.T., M.T., and Muchamad Eris Rizqul Ulum, S.T., M.T.

During the exchange program, UTeM students will attend lectures alongside ITERA students. The courses taken include Industrial Management, Control Systems, Advanced Electronics, Engineering Mathematics 2, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, Electric Circuit Laboratory, Professional Ethics, and Operations Management and Technopreneurship.
The cooperation between ITERA and UTeM in the student exchange program is expected to enrich students' learning experiences, expand international networks, and enhance the quality of education at both institutions.
