Teknik elektro, ITERA, EL ITERA
Rudi Uswarman, Ph.D. lulusan program doktoral dari King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, bersama tim peneliti internasional, mempresentasikan karya mereka yang berjudul "Bus Voltage Stabilization of a Sustainable Photovoltaic-Fed DC Microgrid with Hybrid Energy Storage Systems".
Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) has once again achieved an academic milestone through its lecturer from the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Rudi Uswarman, Ph.D. He has successfully published his latest research in the prestigious international journal "Sustainability," which is categorized as Q1. Dr. Rudi Uswarman, a doctoral graduate from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, along with his international research team, presented their work titled "Bus Voltage Stabilization of a Sustainable Photovoltaic-Fed DC Microgrid with Hybrid Energy Storage Systems".
This research focuses on bus voltage stabilization in a DC microgrid powered by photovoltaic energy, using a hybrid energy storage system. Microgrids that utilize renewable energy such as photovoltaics are crucial in efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, but the main challenge faced is voltage stabilization. In this research, Dr. Rudi and his team present an innovative solution to address these voltage fluctuations, which are caused by weather variations and other operating conditions.
This research involved collaboration with researchers from various institutions, including Khalid Munawar, Makbul A. M. Ramli, and Ibrahim M. Mehedi, and has been recognized as a significant contribution to the development of more stable and efficient renewable energy systems. Publication in the Sustainability journal demonstrates the academic community's recognition of the quality and relevance of this research.
Dr. Rudi Uswarman hopes that the results of this research will not only contribute to the development of renewable energy technologies but also inspire ITERA students and other researchers to enhance sustainable technology innovations.
With this achievement, ITERA further strengthens its position as one of the educational institutions that continues to drive advancements in research and technological innovation, especially in the field of renewable energy.
